Fire Alarm Outside Sales
The fire alarm outside sales position is responsible to acquiring new account sales and service agreements for buyers of low voltage products, fire alarm inspections and services within Arizona. The target markets include commercial, residential multi family, hotels, healthcare and municipal.

- Establish contact with qualified potential buyers of low voltage products and fire alarm inspections and services by scheduling sales calls, lead follow up and VFS marketing strategies.
- Complete the sale of fire alarm systems and system upgrades supporting recurring monthly service customers with an emphasis on monitoring, maintenance, test and inspection.
- Utilize and maintain Inspect Point software to develop an active proposal backlog to support an outlines sales plan.
- Full knowledge of VFS sales pricing, estimating and contract terms.
- Ability to create estimates and presentations to identify our potential customers fire and life safety issues with solutions offered.
Qualifications
- A minimum 2 years of proven sales experience is required in the fire alarm and low voltage industry.
- NICET II is preferred.
- Experience working with electrical contractors.
- Ability to read blueprints and wiring diagrams.
- Strong interpersonal communication skills and closing techniques required.
- Have a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record, in accordance with VFS policy.
- Working knowledge fire sprinkler controls, fire alarm panels and devices.
- Willing to coordinate between inspection deficiencies and service required to correct deficiencies.
- Capability of presenting inspection information and respond to questions from customers and AHJs.
- Willing to take and pass drug test, pass background and reference checks.
- Proven ability to close sales and achieve sales quotas.
- Experience working with and selling Fire Alarm, Fire Alarm Monitoring, and Fire Suppression.
- Proficient with Microsoft Outlook, Excel and Word software.
- Travel is required within Arizona.
